I am on IM virtually all the time at work. Once in a while, I will turn it off just so I can not be interrupted, but working in the busy emedia world that I do, IM is not a luxury item. My coworkers and I use all of these in-house ancronyms for different things – here’s a good example:
B: Did we do video for ESC?
T: MWRF?
B: ED
Now, to the untrained eye, that means nothing. I guess I work in an ARE (Acronym Rich Environment)
