For a while now, I’ve been rather impressed with Anne Hathaway’s looks. She’s been classic, sometimes playful and modern, and always seemed to have a grace that so many of the new actresses don’t have. (No offense to the new ones, of course).

So, when I saw the headline “How to Make Anne Hathaway Look ‘Edgy’”, I had to read the article. As it turns out, they didn’t make her look “edgy.” They made her look vampy. I understand that after everything that happened with that ex-boyfriend of hers, she felt the need to reinvent herself. We’ve all been through that. But if the type of reinvention that she’s going through is the kind that means squatting in a dress, count me out.
